Notice & Takedown (DMCA) Policy — JoinMyJam

1. Respect for Copyright

JoinMyJam respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We act in accordance with applicable law and the principles of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement regarding content displayed on the Service.

The Service's catalog combines content prepared by our team and content created and contributed by users. The responsibility for obtaining the required permissions for uploaded content rests with the user who uploaded it. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply.

2. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that content on the Service infringes your rights, send us a written takedown notice at legal@joinmyjam.com. So that we can handle the matter efficiently, the notice must include:

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner.
Identification of the protected work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works are involved).
Precise identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service — a direct link/URL is the best way to locate it quickly.
Your full contact details: name, address, telephone, and email.
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the rights owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Removal of Content

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove the infringing content or disable access to it promptly. A blocked song is removed from public display and, in its place, a page is shown explaining that the content was removed following a copyright request. Prompt removal ("Notice and Take Down") is not an admission of liability.

4. Counter-Notice

If content you uploaded was removed or disabled and you believe this was done in error or through misidentification, or that you have the required permissions, you may send a counter-notice to legal@joinmyjam.com that includes: your signature; identification of the removed material and its previous location on the Service; a good-faith statement that the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification; and your contact details. After reviewing the counter-notice, we will act in accordance with applicable law.

5. Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
