JoinMyJam is a free platform for musicians who play together in person. People come here to find a jam session near them, to organize a weekly one with their own group, and to practise between sessions with our chord and scale dictionaries, tuner, metronome, and loopers. Advertising is what keeps all of that free to use.

This page explains who our audience is, what advertising we accept, and what we will not run. The other half of the same equation — the free-tools policy and community donations — is set out in why the tools here are free.

Who you reach

Our audience is people who play instruments — not people who only listen to music. That distinction is the whole value of advertising here. A visitor looking up a Bm barre chord or tuning a guitar in the browser is, by definition, someone who owns an instrument and is actively using it.

In practice that means:

• Guitarists, bassists, ukulele players, keyboard players, and drummers, across every level from first-year beginner to working musician.
• People organizing something. Jam hosts booking a room, choosing a date, and assembling a setlist for a group of players.
• People practising. Visitors using the tuner, the metronome, the chord and scale dictionaries, and the YouTube looper — often several times a week.
• A strong Israeli core, with international reach. The interface is available in English and Hebrew, and our jam listings are strongest in Israel.

What we accept

We are interested in advertising that is genuinely useful to a musician:

• Instruments and gear — guitars, basses, keyboards, drums, amplifiers, pedals, microphones, strings, and accessories.
• Music education — teachers, studios, courses, and workshops.
• Rehearsal and recording spaces — rehearsal rooms, studios, and jam-friendly venues.
• Music software and apps — recording software, plugins, and learning tools.
• Live music events — concerts, festivals, open mics, and jam nights.

We offer standard display advertising through Google AdSense, and we consider direct arrangements for brands that fit the audience above — including sponsorship of a specific tool page, newsletter placements, and partnerships around jam events.

What we do not accept

Some categories are declined regardless of what they pay, because they would make the site worse for the people who use it:

• Adult content, gambling, tobacco, and weapons.
• Misleading claims, "get rich quick" offers, and deceptive download buttons.
• Ads that imitate our own interface, or that pretend to be a system message or a play button.
• Anything targeting minors inappropriately. Our audience includes teenagers learning an instrument.
• Advertising for services that infringe copyright.

How we handle ads on the page

We think advertising should be obvious and easy to ignore:

• Ads are always labelled. Anything we are paid for is marked as an advertisement.
• Ads never interrupt playing. We do not place advertising inside a live jam room, and we do not run pop-ups or full-screen interstitials over a tool you are using.
• Editorial independence. Paying us does not buy a recommendation. If we write that a piece of gear is good, that is our opinion and not a purchased placement.

We read every message and aim to reply within five business days. If your proposal is not a fit for our audience, we will tell you so plainly rather than leave you waiting.
