Advertise on JoinMyJam

Last updated: August 10, 2026

JoinMyJam is a free platform for musicians who play together in person. People come here to find a jam session near them, to organize a weekly one with their own group, and to practise between sessions with our chord and scale dictionaries, tuner, metronome, and loopers. Advertising is what keeps all of that free to use.

This page explains who our audience is, what advertising we accept, and what we will not run. The other half of the same equation — the free-tools policy and community donations — is set out in why the tools here are free.

Who you reach

Our audience is people who play instruments — not people who only listen to music. That distinction is the whole value of advertising here. A visitor looking up a Bm barre chord or tuning a guitar in the browser is, by definition, someone who owns an instrument and is actively using it.

In practice that means:

What we accept

We are interested in advertising that is genuinely useful to a musician:

We offer standard display advertising through Google AdSense, and we consider direct arrangements for brands that fit the audience above — including sponsorship of a specific tool page, newsletter placements, and partnerships around jam events.

What we do not accept

Some categories are declined regardless of what they pay, because they would make the site worse for the people who use it:

How we handle ads on the page

We think advertising should be obvious and easy to ignore:

Get in touch

For advertising enquiries, sponsorships, and partnership proposals, write to partnerships@joinmyjam.com.

To help us reply usefully, please include:

  1. Your company and website.
  2. What you would like to promote.
  3. Your rough timing and budget.
  4. Any territory you want to focus on — for example Israel only, or worldwide.

We read every message and aim to reply within five business days. If your proposal is not a fit for our audience, we will tell you so plainly rather than leave you waiting.

For anything that is not advertising — a problem with your account, a bug, or a question about using the site — please use Support instead, at support@joinmyjam.com. For legal notices, see our Terms of Use.
