Accessibility Statement — JoinMyJam
Last updated: June 2026
JoinMyJam is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments) 2013 and Israeli Standard IS 5568:2020.
1. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Where full conformance is not yet achieved, we are actively working to improve.
2. Accessibility Features
- Keyboard navigation support across all major application features
- Screen reader compatibility with semantic HTML and ARIA labels throughout
- Skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page
- Page title announced on every navigation for screen reader users
- Sufficient color contrast (minimum 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
- Text alternatives (alt text) for all meaningful images
- Focus management: keyboard focus is moved to the main content area after every page navigation
- Responsive design supporting 200% browser text zoom without loss of content
- Full right-to-left (RTL) layout support for Hebrew
- Language attribute on the document root, updated dynamically when the language is switched
3. Known Limitations
The following areas are not yet fully accessible and are being actively improved:
- Multi-track looper & GrooveMaker pads — these canvas/pointer-based instruments currently require a pointing device. Keyboard alternatives are on our roadmap.
- Complex audio visualizations — waveform displays may not convey full detail to screen reader users. Text descriptions are planned.
